                            The Happy Crochet Hands

On this page you will find my recent patterns. I also have an online store which will make it possible to purchase the finished pattern should you decide to do so. I am fairly new at designing my own patterns so every effort will be made to give you a correct pattern. Below you will find the first pattern I designed feel free to make and sell the items you make with it. I ask only that you do not make copies, sell, or change the patterns in any way as I make a living doing only handcraft items and am more than welling to share as long as you keep the patterns I share to your self. If your friends or family wish to have the pattern send them back here and they can obtain a copy for them selves. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

I used a light wt yarn on my original scarf it was a bit hard to work with. I suggest you use a worsted wt yarn the first time you make this scarf as a lighter weight yarn tends to pull and blocking will be necessary. Thank you I hope you enjoy the pattern

Special instructions
bead stitch – [yarn over, insert hook around post of previous dc from right to left, yo and pull loop through] 3 times in same place (7 loops on hook), yo and pull through first 6 loops on hook, yo and pull through last 2 loops

The bead everywhere infinity scarf pattern

use I hook for foundation chain only
use the H hook for the rest on the pattern

gauge
4 sts to 1inch
4 rows 2 1nches

Row 1 with I hook ch 31 sts chain 1 turn
Row 2 with H hook sc in each st across 31sts chain 3 turn
Row 3 continue with H hook and dc in each sc across chain 1 turn
Row 4 sc in each dc across 31 dc chain 3 turn
Row 5 bead st in each sc across picture tutorial below

Here you see 2 completed bead sts.
I have now added a second dc this is where we start our bead st.
now yarn over and insert the hook from right to left
yarn over and bring the loop through yarn over again and bring the loop through a second time
you will have 4 loops on the hook yarn over again and you will have 7 loops on your hook

you will now yarn over and bring the loop back through six loops leaving two loops on the hook
at this point yarn over and bring through the 2 loops on the hook bead st complete.
skip one st and make a dc in the next st and you have a nice frame follow this pattern all the way across you should have 10 beads across dc in the last st.
Row 6 ch 1 turn and sc in each st across 31 sc ch 3 turn. repeat rows 5 and 6 four more times
ending with a sc row.
you now should have a full section of 5 beaded rows and 5 sc rows at the end of this section.
in the next row dc in each st all the way across. You will repeat these rows until the scarf is 62"
ending with a row of dc. fasten off. bring the two ends together and join them either by sewing or sc
now the scarf is finished.

Please don't hesitate to leave a post if there is any problem with the pattern. the pattern is  simple once you get started really happy hooking.
